cute as a button :)

jen wanted to throw her best friend sheryl a baby shower with the theme “cute as a button”. i thought it was such a cute theme for the shower especially with the gender of the baby being a surprise!  for the cake, jen decided to go with a pile of buttons and a spool of thread, with each of the buttons and the spool being a tier of cake!

the celebrant was the only man amongst an office full of women. sue explained to me that he was always a good sport celebrating all of the engagements, weddings, and baby showers they would have at the office. everyone at the office wanted to do something special for him when he became a first time home owner. they decided to throw him a surprise party complete with house warming cupcakes!
