jana wanted to get her daughter a special cake on her 8th grade graduation. her daughter emily loves to run, play the piano, and she is a vegetarian, so she loves her fruits and vegetables. jana wanted to celebrate all of emily’s interests on her graduation cake. she decided on a piano cake with dancing fruits and vegetables on top with the message reading “congratulations emily! keep on running!”

Welcome to my blog!
Why hello there :) My name is Michelle Martinez and I LOVE to make cakes! When I'm not in the kitchen or driving around in my cake mobile, I'm either dancing or surrounding myself with family and friends. I love going on adventures wherever they may take me, belting out my favorite songs despite the embarrassment, and doing the happy dance when I take the first bite of exactly what I was craving. I started baking when I was very little, but never thought it would become more than just spoiling my friends with sweet treats. It wasn't until I was well into the baking and pastry program at Kendall College that I learned about my passion for cake decorating. It allows me to be a painter, a sculptor, a drawer, a designer, and so many other things, but in the form of a pastry chef! Not only do I get to be creative with the look of the cakes, but also with the yummy flavors. :) And at the end of the day, it's all about how they taste right?
Thank you so much for stopping by and please let me know if I can help make your special occasion unforgettable!
